1S Lab Filter (25.4 sq mm media)
The 1S is an all stainless steel unit and accommodates the smallest filter media available for a laboratory size filter. These units are constructed of 316 stainless steel with an optional heating/cooling jacket for filtration up to 30 PSIG. The 1S is a single stage small volume process development filter that allows easy pad change over in the minimum of time. The 1S simulates a vertical plate and frame filter press for scale-up studies for high value products e.g. biopharmaceutical, Plasmid, DNA, vaccines etc.
The Model 1S lab filter is for use in laboratories to perform filtration trials and scalability studies.
